What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Building Maintenance position at AtWork Group?
Pay : $19 / hr
Hours : 11a - 8p / M-F & some weekends
Location : East Houston (77029)
1. Requires proficient knowledge of common maintenance trades such as carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical, and machine / equipment repair.
2. Requires proficient facilities maintenance & preventative maintenance inspection & troubleshooting skills.
4. Cleans, maintains, and repairs building fixtures and some equipment, including doors, shelving, and kitchen utensils; replace light bulbs and fuses; makes simple furniture, cabinet, asphalt tile, and linoleum repairs.
5. Must have proficient knowledge, skill, and demonstrated ability to properly use hand tools common to facility repair and maintenance such as ratchet sets, wrenches, screwdrivers, millimeters, etc.
6. Requires general / basic knowledge of safety requirements for common maintenance procedures.
7. Must have the ability to identify facility / maintenance issues, including the ability to provide validation & sign-off of work performed by contractors (i.E., hands-on validation of functional / working completeness).
REQUIREMENTS
Must have a high school education or equivalency
Minimum two years of trade school plus or 3 years minimum experience is preferred
3 years experience in building and maintenance
Must be flexible, adaptable, and can act quickly with little or no supervision
Efficient in writing messages and reports
