We are seeking a highly skilled Mixing Machine Operator to join our production team at a leading manufacturer of desert products. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in food manufacturing, particularly in operating mixing equipment. As a Mixing Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining mixing machines to produce high-quality desert products in compliance with safety, quality, and production standards.
Schedule : 3 days between Monday - Friday 5 : 45am - 7 : 45pm
Key Responsibilities :
Machine Operation : Set up and operate mixing machines used in the production of desert products, ensuring they are running efficiently and producing the desired batch quality.
Ingredient Handling : Accurately measure and mix raw ingredients, such as flour, sugars, flavorings, and other desert-specific materials, following established recipes and production schedules.
Quality Control : Monitor the consistency and quality of the mix, making necessary adjustments to the equipment and process to meet product specifications and quality standards.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting : Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on mixing machines, ensuring they are functioning properly and minimizing downtime.
Cleaning & Sanitation : Follow strict hygiene and food safety procedures to clean and sanitize mixing equipment, utensils, and workstations according to company guidelines.
Compliance : Adhere to all safety protocols, food safety regulations (e.G., FDA, HACCP), and company policies to ensure a safe and compliant manufacturing environment.
Documentation : Accurately complete production logs, quality checks, and inventory records to maintain traceability and compliance with production standards.
Collaboration : Work closely with other team members, including production, quality assurance, and maintenance, to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Qualifications :
Experience : Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mixing Machine Operator or in a similar role within the food manufacturing industry, preferably in the production of deserts or baked goods.
Knowledge : Strong understanding of food manufacturing processes, equipment operation, and food safety standards. Experience with mixing machines used in desert manufacturing is preferred.
Skills :
Ability to operate, troubleshoot, and maintain mixing machines.
Proficient in following detailed recipes and product specifications.
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify and correct quality or process issues.
Basic knowledge of inventory and production tracking systems.
Physical Requirements : Ability to lift and move heavy ingredients or materials (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods. Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
