Our client is a worldwide leading manufacturer of premium building products and related technology.
Job Responsibilities :
Inspect and verify suitable of all incoming raw materials and finished goods
Continuously monitor the production process and product to maintain product consistency and comply with established specifications
Evaluate and test all finished products and overall product quality during and after production
Accurately perform and document all testing. Testing may include : Inspection and testing of incoming raw materials, in-process products, finished goods
Utilize testing equipment for validation and / or calibration. Able to read close tolerance gauges, meters, and tape measures protection.
Strictly adhere to safety procedures when handling chemicals
Properly identify quality defects and understand CCM Defect List and Troubleshooting Guide for Aesthetics
Perform daily / weekly start-ups / shutdowns / Calibrations and mastering on all necessary equipment in accordance with standard works procedures
Properly layout and cut boards and samples in accordance with standard work procedures
Calculate Laminator run time; compression strengths; board, cup and core densities; basic statistical applications
Properly input, analyze, and manage data
Perform Chemical and Facer Sampling
Perform Foam core density testing; 3D compressive Strength testing; Dimensional stability testing; Cold box testing; Facer Peel testing (adhesion); Attribute testing for aesthetics and K-Factor Test
Participate in the plant's continuous improvement process
Housekeeping of Plant inside and out, Assist in training of new team members
Skills
High school diploma or GED
A minimum of one year of QA Technician experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Manufacturing / processing specifications and quality standards for products preferred
Operate product test equipment and equipment calibration
Understand the impact of sending incorrect / defective product
Read close tolerance gauges, meters, and taupe measures
Must be familiar with using a computer and entering data
