Overview :
As a shop helper you will play a crucial role in supporting efficient operations our manufacturing facility. You will assist in various tasks related to the production of HVAC equipment, ensuring that our products meet quality standards and deadlines. This position requires a hands-on approach, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities :
Aid in the assembly of HVAC components by fetching parts, tools, and equipment as needed.
Operate machinery under supervision, following safety protocols and manufacturing procedures.
Inspect products for defects or irregularities, reporting any issues to supervisors.
Assist in loading and unloading of materials and equipment used in the manufacturing process.
Keep the work area clean and organized and perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment and tools.
Support special projects as assigned by supervisors, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the manufacturing process.
Qualifications :
Familiarity with basic hand tools and mechanical equipment is preferred.
Previous HVAC experience is a plus
Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in all tasks performed.
Ability to lift heavy objects as needed.
