This role involves working closely with skilled tradespeople and contributing to the successful completion of construction assignments for commercial projectsDutiesMust have reliable transportation will be working in Decatur and HartselleMust have recent experience working in constructionSupport the building process by preparing materials and tools for construction activities.Participate in tile laying projects, helping to achieve precise layouts and finishes.Aid in remodeling efforts by providing assistance in demolition, framing, and installation tasks.Work on construction sites, adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a clean work environment.Assist with construction estimating by gathering necessary measurements and materials.Engage in construction painting tasks, preparing surfaces and applying finishes as directed.Install metal flashing be able to measure and fit to specific work area.SkillsExperience in building processes, including framing and structural work.Familiarity with remodeling practices, including design understanding and execution.Understanding of construction site safety regulations and practices.Ability to assist in construction estimating processes effectively.Familiar with electric and cordless power toolsMust be able to work on scissor lifts and work off the ground.Join our team as a Construction Assistant where you can develop your skills while contributing to exciting projects.
