Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven BDM / Sales Agent to join our team to be responsible for identifying and generating new business through outside sales activities, such as prospecting, pipeline management, and closing. This Agent will perform business development duties dealing with companies of all sizes, but most frequently with middle to senior management of client accounts. This position requires a proactive approach, strong communication skills, and a passion for sales and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Planning: Develop and execute effective sales plans to achieve or surpass established sales goals in alignment with the strategic plan.
- Prospecting: Conduct networking, research, initiate contacts, and qualify prospects.
- Pipeline Management: Profile accounts, draft proposals, deliver sales presentations, and follow up through calls/emails.
- Consultative Selling: Employ consultative sales techniques to address client objections, negotiate terms, and close deals.
- Collaboration: Partner with recruiters to ensure high customer satisfaction and suitable candidate placements.
- CRM Management: Maintain an up-to-date database by continuously updating company and contact information in the CRM system.
- Professional Development: Stay current with industry trends, sales strategies, and competitive landscape.
- Performance Metrics: Meet or exceed performance expectations, including weekly prospecting and pipeline activities, quota attainment, billable hours, employee assignments, and Gross Profit (GP) targets.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience.
- 2-5 years of business-to-business sales experience.
- Experience in the staffing industry, particularly in business development or sales preferred.
- Proficiency in consultative, solutions-based selling.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Strong relationship-building and management skills.
- Effective sales presentation and persuasion abilities.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Valid driver's license in good standing.
