Putsch Manufacturing Facility located in Fletcher, NC seeking :
CNC Machinist
1st Shift : Monday - Thursday / 6 : 30AM - 5PM
25-30 / hr. BOE
- Previous CNC experience required.
CNC Machine Operator Role and Responsibilities
Program, set up, and operate CNC horizontal lathes as well as 5-axis milling machines
Use CAD / CAM to export post processor for CNC machinery
Great Working Knowledge of tooling needed to product parts cost-efficient
Manual mill and lathe experience
Operate equipment safely and efficiently
Maintain equipment through PM program and per manufacturer’s suggestions; be able to troubleshoot
and repair minor issues
Transportmaterialasrequiredviaforkliftoroverheadcrane
Assist in keeping a clean and safe working environment
Minimize interruptions in product flow by maintaining quality on all parts manufactured
Assistwithotherdutiesasrequestedbymanagement
Mustbeadaptabletochangingproductionschedule.
CNC Machine Operator Qualifications / Education :
Experience using measurement tools such as micrometers, GO / NO GO gauges, and calipers
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings with minimal tolerances
Proven experience running and programming CNC equipment
Experience running Mazak, Milltronics, Doosan 5-Axis and Weiler machines a plus
Knowledgeofcomplexgeometric, algebraic,trigonometric mathematical computations
Knowledgeofmetricsystemisarequirement
Knowledge of Fanuc, Siemens, And Mazatrol machining centers
Configureandsetoffsetswithinthecontrols
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and preform repetitive tasks
Abilitytoworkindependently
