Job Title: Entry-Level CNC Lathe Operator

Job Summary: Hi-Tec Machine Corp is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level CNC Lathe Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role involves operating CNC (Computer Numerical Control) lathes to produce precision metal and plastic components according to specifications.

The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of machining processes, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. Training will be provided for the right candidate in various aspects such as blueprint reading and use of measuring tools like calipers and micrometers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC lathe machines to produce parts according to blueprints, work orders, and specifications with high precision.
• Loading raw materials into the machine and monitoring the machining process to ensure efficiency.
• Inspecting finished products using quality control measures to meet industry standards.
• Performing routine maintenance tasks on CNC lathes to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
• Adjusting machine settings as needed to maintain optimal performance.
• Following established safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Collaborating with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.

Requirements:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Brief knowledge of machining principles, blueprint reading, and use of measuring tools is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and procedures.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds safely.
• Prior experience in manufacturing or machining is preferred but not necessary.
