Screen Print Operator

Mid-size plastics manufacturer in Macedonia, OH is looking for a hardworking and motivated Screen Print Operator to join their team. This is a 1st shift temp-to-hire position.

Position summary: Responsible for production output associated with the Value Add (Printing/Labeling) Department. Has ability to set up tooling/equipment per work orders and monitor production, dealing with issues that may arise during the production run.

Responsibilities of the Screen Print Operator:

• Gather correct materials, inks, dies and screens needed to run job
• Set up and run press
• Perform product checks
• Performs checks for compliance to customer specifications and quality standards
• Maintain press
• Package finished products off press
• Complies with company personnel and safety polices and good manufacturing practices
• Performs other duties as required

Qualifications of a Screen Print Operator:

• High school diploma or GED
• 1 year of printing experience
• Competent math and computer skills
• Mechanical aptitude
• Quality-minded with strict attention to detail
• Must be motivated to work without constant supervision in a group setting with ability to help peers

Physical Requirements of a Screen Print Operator:

• Frequently required to lift and or move weights up to 35 lbs.
• Use of Personal Protective Equipment on the production floor (PPE)
• Physical requirements include but not limited to sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, carrying, pulling, pushing, stooping, crouching, color determination and grasping

Job type: Full time, temp-to-hire (average of 90 days)

Shift: 7:30 AM - 7:30 PM (12 hour rotational day shift)

Pay: $16.50/hr starting, weekly pay
