Water and Fire Restoration Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Restoration Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for restoring properties affected by various types of damage, including water, fire, mold, and asbestos. You will work closely with clients to ensure their properties are restored to a safe and clean condition. The ideal candidate will have experience in the restoration industry and a strong understanding of the tools and techniques required for effective restoration.

Duties

• Perform water damage restoration services, including extraction and drying of affected areas.
• Conduct fire restoration tasks to repair and restore properties damaged by fire and smoke.
• Execute mold remediation processes to safely remove mold from structures.
• Carry out asbestos abatement procedures in compliance with safety regulations.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various restoration tasks.
• Clean carpets and other surfaces as part of the restoration process.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout all projects.
• Communicate with clients regarding the restoration process and provide updates on progress.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient project completion.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the restoration industry is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of water damage restoration, fire restoration, mold remediation, and asbestos abatement techniques is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with clients professionally.
• A valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
