Job Details
General job duties include assessing and documenting normal and abnormal findings, developing and evaluating plans of care, and understanding patient treatment needs.
Demonstrates knowledge in hemodynamic monitoring, airway management, dysrhythmia recognition, CPR, and body-fluid monitoring.
Triage and assessment of emergency patients, administration of medications, IV starts, and procedural sedation.
Job Requirements
2 years ED experience required.
GA or compact RN license required.
Schedule Information
Will work every other weekend, 2 or 3 holidays, and one 24-hour call shift every 4 weeks.
36 hours a week with specific scheduling needs for various shifts.
Unit Specific Information
Adheres to ED and EDOU policies and procedures.
Completion of a one-week preceptor-based ED specific orientation.
Additional Details
