- Greet guests upon arrival and provide them with information about the hotel's amenities and services
- Ensure that all guests receive personal, individual and professional treatment.
- Provide guests with information, descriptions, directions and reservations for all hotel services, local restaurants, wineries, activities, travel arrangements and other points of interest.
- Work closely with front office and other guest relations departments on special requests and amenities.
- Handle guest problems or complaints until they are resolved or by bringing to the attention of the proper person for resolution.
- Coordinate guest history with front office, reservations, housekeeping and room service.
- Coordinate special attention for birthdays, anniversaries or special events.
- Maintain knowledge of the area, its facilities and points of interest.
- Develop good relationships with peers in local restaurants and wineries.
- Ensure accuracy of data input into guest history.
- Maintain knowledge of all hotel services/features and hours of operation.
- Maintain updated supply of resource materials.
- Research material and update concierge weekly local activity schedule.

Qualifications
- 1 years prior experience in a luxury hotel or hospitality environment.
- High School graduate.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent service, etiquette and protocol skills and knowledge.
- Knowledge of the Northern California area (particularly the Napa Valley), its geography, wineries, restaurants, events, sights and other places of interest to travelers.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and reservation management software
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations.
- Knowledge of computers.
- Ability to communicate (both written and verbal) with proper grammar, in English, with guests, management, co-workers and vendors.
- Ability to input and access data in a computer.
- Ability to promote positive relations with all guests and staff.
- Ability to ascertain guest and callers needs and comply with such to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Ability to be a clear thinker and remain calm under pressure.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of guest information and designated hotel data.
- Ability to work cohesively with other departments as part of a team.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time in a confined environment.
- Ability to endure temperature changes.
- Ability to hear spoken language in person and by phone.
- Ability to maneuver using manual dexterity in use of phones, computers, telephones, reference books, manuals and paper goods.
- Ability to prioritize and follow up on work assignments.
- Ability to work without direct supervision.
