Summer Graphic Design Intern – Commercial Real Estate

Overview:
The Aubuchon Realty Company (ARC) is a fourth-generation, family-run commercial real estate firm based in Concord, MA. Today, our focus is on transforming underutilized spaces into vibrant retail and mixed-use destinations. As a small, hands-on team, we move quickly and think creatively—and we’re looking for an intern who’s excited to bring strong design skills to real-world projects that shape local communities.
Position Summary:
We’re looking for a creative and driven Graphic Design Intern to join our leasing and marketing team for the summer. This role is ideal for a design student with an interest in commercial real estate, branding, and marketing communications. You’ll work closely with leadership to create high-quality, visually compelling marketing materials that support leasing and investment activity.
This is an in-person role based at our headquarters in Concord, MA, and requires you to be in the office Monday through Friday throughout the internship.
Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain a digital asset library of templates, photos, and graphics
- Collaborate with leasing and development teams to translate property information into clean, on-brand visuals
- Design and produce marketing collateral including property flyers, leasing brochures, site signage, and presentation decks
- Create on-brand graphics and templates for social media, email campaigns, and web use
- Support campaign planning and execution across digital and print
- Assist in basic photo, image, and video editing
- Upload graphics and descriptions to the company website (no coding required)
- Assist with production tasks including printing, trimming, binding, laminating, and preparing materials for meetings or trade shows
- Maintain a consistent visual identity across all deliverables
- Take on additional tasks as needed to support the marketing and leasing teams
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Marketing, or a related field
- Strong portfolio showcasing layout, typography, and branding skills
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop); familiarity with Canva is a plus
- Understanding of digital and print design best practices
- Detail-oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills
- Interest in commercial real estate, architecture, or placemaking is a bonus
