Since 1928, Auburn Ski Club (ASC) has been the cornerstone of snow sports in Northern California, nurturing generations of athletes and snow sports enthusiasts. As the oldest non-profit snow sports organization in the area, we take pride in creating a welcoming environment for families and athletes to foster a lifelong love of snow sports. Today, ASC operates a state-of-the-art Training Center on Donner Summit, offering world-class programs across Alpine, Snowboard, Nordic, and Biathlon disciplines. Each year, we engage over 700 athletes at every level—from newcomers to competitors—on their journey to a lifelong love of snow sports.
ASC is now seeking a visionary, dynamic, and passionate leader to guide our organization as its next Executive Director.
Position Overview:
As the Executive Director, you will be the driving force behind ASC's mission to inspire and cultivate a lifelong love of snow sports across our multi-discipline programs, athletes, staff, and facilities. This role involves a dynamic seasonal rhythm, with winter being our busiest time due to extensive programming and competitions, complemented by select summer activities. You will work closely with the Board of Directors to guide organizational growth, secure key funding milestones, and maintain exceptional service for our members and community. This leadership position demands an experienced individual with strong interpersonal communication, conflict management, and relationship-building skills, as you will manage a diverse team and collaborate with external organizations to achieve ASC’s mission
