What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dietary Manager position at Auburn Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation?
Auburn Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation is an 44-bed facility located in beautiful Damascus, OH. We are currently in search of a compassionate, motivated individual to join our team of healthcare professionals in the role of Dietary Manager.

The role of Dietary Manager includes, but is not limited to :
1. Train and schedule the dietary staff to adequately meet the needs of the operations on a monthly basis.
2. Make daily assignments of the dietary staff that most effectively and efficiently utilizes the staffing pattern for that day.
3. Provide each dietary employee a written evaluation after 90-day probationary period and annually on his / her date of hire.
4. Continuously monitor the work performance of each employee and provide counseling or further disciplinary action per policy as indicated.
5. Promote employee relations while directly supervising the dietary staff through feedback and positive reinforcement.
6. Create and monitor compliance with cleaning and sanitation policies, procedures and protocols for the dietary Department on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual schedule.
7. Monitor the preparation of the food to assure : adherence to standardized recipes, maintenance of nutritional values and proper sanitation practices are followed.
8. Work along side kitchen staff in the kitchen to ensure proper food consistencies and great tasting meals.
