Job Description Summary | The College of Forestry, Wildlife and Environment at Auburn University invites applications for a postdoctoral research position focused on advancing innovations in functional paper coatings and their application in packaging solutions, with a particular emphasis on food shelf-life improvement. The successful candidate will work as part of an interdisciplinary team to contribute to groundbreaking research and development in sustainable packaging technologies. This is a non-renewable appointment ending October 1, 2025. The successful candidate must meet eligibility requirements for work in the United States at the time the appointment is scheduled to begin and continue working legally for the term of employment. |

Minimum Qualifications | Candidates must possess a Ph.D. in applied chemistry, industrial chemistry, forest resources, forest products, pulp and paper science, engineering, chemical engineering, biosystems engineering, polymer chemistry and/or engineering and related areas at the time employment begins. |
