About the role
The Product Manager - AI and ML Capabilities will define and execute Auctane's strategy for leveraging AI and machine learning to transform its product offerings. This includes integrating AI-driven features such as chatbots, propensity models for churn and feature engagement, and automated insights and reporting to support small businesses. Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, this role will collaborate across product, engineering, data science, and customer success teams to deliver AI-powered solutions that improve customer experience and operational efficiency.
This position is hybrid (3 days per week in office) and is located in Austin, Texas.

What will you be doing?
- AI-Powered Chat and Customer Experience :
- Develop and execute a strategy for leveraging AI chat capabilities across Auctane's product suite to enhance customer interactions.
- Collaborate with customer support teams to create an end-to-end customer experience using chatbots and AI-driven tools.
- Ensure the integration of AI chat aligns with the broader product vision and improves overall user satisfaction.
- Propensity Models and Predictive Analytics :
- Build and implement propensity models to predict customer churn and feature engagement, enabling proactive strategies to enhance retention and usage.
- Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to ensure models are accurate, scalable, and actionable.
- Leverage these models to inform product roadmap decisions and customer success initiatives.
- Automation and Insights for Small Businesses :
- Define AI-driven solutions to help small business customers automate processes and gain actionable insights into their operations.
- Develop features like automated reporting, predictive analytics, and smart recommendations to support data-driven decision-making.
- Gather feedback from small businesses to ensure solutions address their needs and simplify their workflows.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration :
- Partner with engineering and data science teams to deliver scalable AI and ML capabilities.
- Work closely with marketing to position AI features as a key differentiator for Auctane's offerings.
- Collaborate with customer success to ensure AI-powered tools are effectively adopted and utilized by customers.
- Goals and Metrics :
- Define success metrics for AI and ML initiatives, including customer engagement, retention rates, and feature adoption.
- Monitor performance data to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
- Report progress to stakeholders and align initiatives with company objectives.
