Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage employee onboarding to ensure a smooth transition for new hires, coordinating with recruiters and hiring managers.
- Maintain and manage employee records, ensuring data accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with record-keeping requirements.
- Administer and support benefits programs, including open enrollment, ongoing benefits management, and employee inquiries.
- Manage performance evaluation processes, performance improvement plans, and disciplinary actions.
- Provide HRIS management, ensuring accurate data entry and supporting various HR functions, including recruiting, employee relations, and training.
- Ensure compliance with federal reporting and HR regulations.
- Collaborate with the HR Director on process improvements, strategic projects, and policy development.
- Ensure compliance with FSLA regulations, including employee classification, overtime, and wage requirements.
- Maintain ACA compliance by tracking employee hours, eligibility, and reporting requirements.
- Ensure compliance with federal reporting and HR regulations.
- Oversee and administer FMLA leave, ensuring compliance with federal regulations, tracking leave balances, and assisting employees with the process.
- Conduct investigations and assist in resolving employee relations issues.
- Facilitate employee terminations, including exit interviews and necessary documentation.
- Develop and deliver training materials based on organizational needs.
- Act as a primary point of contact for employee HR-related concerns.
- Support HR functions such as employee relations, compensation, labor relations, and workplace safety.
- Prepare and process HR documentation, including employment contracts, offer letters, and terminations.
- Coordinate interviews, meetings, training sessions, and company events.
- Assist in the recruiting process by posting job openings, conducting phone screens, and scheduling interviews.
- Support employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and team-building activities.
- Assist with HR projects, initiatives, and policy updates.
- Other relevant tasks as assigned
- Associate’s Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
- 3 years’ progressive HR work experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of Human Resource concepts and company HR policies, programs and procedures
- Strong computer skills including proficiency with MS Office Suite and Google Docs
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work with flexibility
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Ability to exercise sound judgment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership
- Ability to work flexible hours to work with employees on the East and West coast
- Conducts oneself with integrity, honesty and knowledge to promote respectful work environment
- Ability to travel as needed to office locations across the US
