What you will be doing :
Audax is looking for a Head of Digital Services to lead the design, development, and delivery of digital services for domain verticals viz. IAM, origination, party management, and customer communications. This role requires a strong technical leader who can drive engineering strategy, oversee multiple domain teams, and ensure system scalability, security, and reliability. You will work closely with the CPTO, product owners, and cross-functional engineering squads to build and optimize products.
Responsibilities :
- Driving robust, scalable architectural decisions that align with long-term strategy.
- Ensuring solutions align with and support the organization’s strategic product / technical roadmap.
- Champion code quality, implementing best practices, security standards, reducing defects and technical debt.
- Leading high-impact projects that significantly contribute to business outcomes.
- Ensuring systems operate efficiently under peak loads and are scalable for growth.
- Optimizing resources and infrastructure to reduce operational costs without compromising quality.
- Sharing expertise through documentation, workshops, or tech talks to uplift the entire engineering organization.
- Setting the standard for technical excellence and cultivating a culture of best practices across the team.
- Collaborating effectively with product managers, QA, design, and other stakeholders to drive consensus and alignment.
- Leading negotiations and discussions to reach mutually beneficial agreements on technical decisions.
- Representing engineering perspectives in strategic forums and championing technical excellence at an organizational level.
- Delivering projects within agreed timelines while maintaining quality and scope.
- Lead and mentor multiple engineering managers and teams, providing technical guidance and driving engineering excellence.
- Own and drive the technical roadmap, aligning engineering initiatives with product roadmap.
- Architect and build cloud-native, microservices-based solutions on Kubernetes, ensuring seamless integration with modern DevSecOps practices.
- Identify and mitigate technical debt, ensuring systems are future-proof and optimized for performance.
- Lead by example, supporting teams in solving complex technical challenges.
