Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their automotive service inquiries.
- Manage inventory levels effectively, ensuring that stock is maintained and organized.
- Utilize retail math to accurately process transactions and manage sales.
- Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best prices for parts and services.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Assist in automotive diagnostics by providing relevant information to technicians.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.
- Utilize Excel for data entry, reporting, and tracking inventory metrics.
- Communicate effectively with customers, including those who may be multilingual.
Requirements
- Experience in automotive service or a related field is preferred.
- Strong negotiation skills to facilitate effective supplier interactions.
- Proficiency in inventory management practices and retail math.
- Familiarity with CMMS software is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of automotive diagnostics is beneficial.
