What are the responsibilities and job description for the Entry Level Accounting Clerk position at AUDI WEST PALM BEACH?
Audi West Palm Beach has an immediate opportunity for an Accounting Clerk to work in a thriving and busy dealership. Prior experience in the automotive retail industry is preferred. Successful candidate must be personable, have excellent communication and organizational skills, and must be outcome-oriented. The ability to work in a fast paced environment with strong attention to detail is essential. Our accounting team members generally work independently and have their primary area(s) of responsibility, but also support each other and the dealership as a whole.
Accounting Clerk Requirements
- Organized and self-motivated to complete work accurately and efficiently
- Some office experience and basic understanding of business accounting is preferred
- Aptitude with numbers and basic math
- Computer literate and able to use Microsoft Excel and accounting software- don't worry, we'll train you on the specific software we use
- Flexible and able to work in a team environment
- Independent judgment and critical thinking skills to know when something needs a second look
- Provide administrative/clerical support to Controller and Accounting Office Manager as needed
- Other duties as required
Qualified candidates should have:
- Automobile dealership accounting clerk experience preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi task and meet or exceed deadlines
- Computer proficiency required
- ADP, CDK and or Reynolds and Reynolds experience is a plus
