Audio Visual Technician

We are an AV company located in West Palm Beach Florida that provides sales and integration services for residential homes and yachts throughout South Florida over the last 20 years through referral. We are also international with an office in Costa Rica and have performed services throughout 40 countries and aboard private ships.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot AV components, networks and security.
• Utilize hand tools and schematics to perform repairs and upgrades.
• Conduct field service visits to ensure optimal performance of systems.
• Manage wiring for low voltage applications on both new and retro construction.
• Collaborate to resolve software and component hardware issues efficiently.
• Produce accurate records of service and equipment status through CRM.
• Maintain patience and passion to conduct a positive day of service.

Service Qualifications

• Proficient in field service and maintenance of audio-visual equipment
• Skilled in using hand tools and troubleshooting software and device hardware
• Strong understanding of schematics and cabling techniques
• Experience with low voltage systems and electrical components
• Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with voltmeters and telecommunications
• Relevant electrical experience is a plus, LV or Electrical certification even better!

• Control4: (helpful but not required)
• Somfy: Shades
• Music: Sonos, Heos
• Cameras: Hikvision, Turing, Ring, Nest
• Networks: Araknis, Eero, Luxul

The job is for West Palm Beach integration services with possible travel to Costa Rica but not required. Must have valid Passport.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.50 - $38.50 per hour
