We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Audiology Assistant/Tech to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with licensed audiologists to provide support in patient care, equipment maintenance, and administrative tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about healthcare and interested in helping patients improve their hearing and communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist audiologists with routine patient care, including preparing patients for appointments.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot audiology equipment, ensuring it is clean, functional, and ready for use.
  • Provide basic hearing aid care, including cleaning, checking, and minor repairs under supervision.
  • Educate patients on hearing aid maintenance, usage, and care.
  • Manage inventory of audiology supplies and hearing aid accessories.
  • Schedule appointments, answer phone calls, and assist with administrative duties as needed.
  • Ensure patient records are up to date and comply with HIPAA regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support audiology services.
  • Perform test box electrical acoustical analysis of hearing aids.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or coursework in a healthcare-related field preferred.
  • Completion of an Audiology Assistant training program (or willingness to complete one) is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare or customer service role is desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
  • Proficiency with basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office, scheduling software).
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
