About the Job
Reporting directly to the President & Managing Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic growth plan and successfully leading and developing the Trade & Partnerships team. You will research, identify, and source new strategic partnership opportunities. Create and oversee a systematic and process-driven approach to initial partner outreach and ongoing relationship management. This role is also responsible for the negotiation and completion of trade and partnership contracts in accordance with Audley’s contract guidelines and policies. You will support the achievement of the overall commercial goals for our business.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the productivity and efficiency of the team through consistent management of performance, regular feedback and coaching
Conduct 1-2-1s and quarterly performance reviews with individual team members to provide support and identify development/training needs
Ensuring annual and quarterly sales production targets for both trade and partnerships are met or exceeded
Ensuring agency penetration is consistently increasing on a quarterly and annual basis
Develop and implement annual business growth plans including objectives and targets for each travel agency and corporate partner.
Provide inter Research, identify and source new strategic partnership opportunities. Create and oversee a systematic and process-driven approach to initial partner outreach and ongoing relationship management.
To ensure consistent meeting, reporting, and communication cadence is maintained with all agencies and partners
Responsible for negotiation and completion of trade and partnership contracts in accordance with Audley’s contract guidelines and policies.
To attend external meetings or events
Ensure spending is in line with annual Trade & Partnerships budget
Qualifications:
10 years’ travel industry experience managing B2B partnerships and/or travel agencies and consortia. Prior experience with FIT is an advantage.
5 years’ experience reporting directly into the Board of Directors.
5 years’ experience managing a team.
Ability to travel domestically up to 75% of the time and internationally on occasion.
Strong leader with the ability to build relationships and influence others at all levels.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – both written and verbal.
Strong organization, time management and planning skills.
Strong analytical & problem-solving skills.
Customer service and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and administration skills.
To have exceptional IT skills, and a thorough understanding of tableau, MIS and JD. Along with strong Microsoft understanding especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Location
This role offers the flexibility to work from our Boston office on a hybrid basis or fully remotely, depending on your location.
Compensation:
Salary of $180,000 to $200,000 (depending on experience)
