The Vice President of Partnerships will lead the strategy, development, and execution of high-value partnerships with key stakeholders in the healthcare sector, including health systems, payers, technology companies, and other service providers.
This role requires a strategic thinker and relationship-builder with deep healthcare experience and the ability to identify and negotiate mutually beneficial collaborations that align with our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities :
Develop and execute a comprehensive partnership strategy aligned with the company's business goals and growth objectives.
Identify opportunities to create value through collaborations with health systems, payers, and industry partners.Relationship Management :Establish and nurture executive-level relationships with current and potential partners.
Serve as the organization's primary point of contact for strategic partnerships, ensuring alignment and shared goals.Business Development :Drive revenue growth through the identification and execution of strategic partnerships and alliances.
Evaluate market trends and competitive landscape to identify partnership opportunities that provide a competitive advantage.Negotiations & Contracts :Lead complex negotiations, ensuring favorable terms while building trust and fostering long-term relationships.
Oversee partnership agreements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.Collaboration & Cross-Functional Leadership :Partner with internal teams (e.g., sales, product development, marketing, and operations) to align partnership initiatives with organizational goals.
Act as a champion for partnerships across the organization, driving engagement and support for initiatives.Performance Measurement :Establish key performance metrics to measure the success and impact of partnerships.
Provide regular reporting and insights to the executive team.Qualifications :
Experience :10 years of experience in partnerships, business development, or strategic alliances, preferably within the healthcare sector.Healthcare Knowledge :Deep understanding of the healthcare ecosystem, including health systems, payers, providers, and regulatory environments.Familiarity with payer enrollment, credentialing, and the challenges faced by hospitals and healthcare organizations in these areas.Communication Skills :Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with a diverse audience.Contract Negotiation Skills :Proven ability to negotiate and manage complex, high-value agreements.Technology Proficiency :Comfortable using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Apollo, HubSpot) and productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, LinkedIn Sales Navigator).Results-Driven :Results-oriented mindset with a proven ability to meet or exceed performance targets in a fast-paced environment.Education :Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).Organizational Skills :Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
