Job Description
Wentworth Institute of Technology, in Boston, Massachusetts, is seeking applicants for the position of Associate Vice President, Advancement, Industry & Government Partnerships.
Reporting to the Vice President of Institutional Advancement and External Relations, the Associate Vice President will oversee a team of professionals to establish and grow relationships with individuals, industry, government, and foundations to establish partnerships and generate revenue for the Institution.
Key Responsibilities :
- Identify and manage portfolio of industry, government and foundation relationships to bring transformative impact to the Institution ($1M ).
- Develop strong partnerships between all University academic and administrative units and develop a team culture in support of those partnerships.
- Advance major gift fundraising, corporate and foundation engagement as well as government partnerships to drive immersive learning opportunities, and grants and services.
- Develop and execute departmental strategic plans for Office of Individual, Industry & Government Partnerships, including setting and achieving engagement and revenue targets and collaborating closely with the Provost, School Deans and colleagues to ensure successful achievement of these targets.
- Collaborate with Office of Transformational Learning and Partnerships to explore and investigate opportunities for creating diversified revenue streams for the university.
- Supervises 6 employees : Senior Major Gifts Officer; Major Gifts Officer; Senior Associate Director, Industry Engagement; Associate Director, Foundation Relations; Director, Community and Government Relations; and Office Manager.
