Data Technician

JOB DESCRIPTION :

Reporting to the Data Manager, the Survey Data Technician is responsible for processing data collected by field crews, communication with Party Chiefs and reporting progress to the Project Manager. The Data Technician at Audubon Field Solutions is a pivotal role that builds the foundation to our deliverables.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Review and process the files and data from field crews on a daily basis.
• Use OPUS observation reports to adjust coordinates.
• Maintain equipment database.
• Maintain survey file Basemap.
• Work with drafting department to ensure data accuracy.
• Work close with the field personnel to provide feedback and concerns on field data and documentation.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS :

Basic understanding of coordinate systems.
