Audubon is currently seeking an Executive Assistant to join our team in our Metairie, LA Office. The Executive Assistant reports directly to the President and may provide support to the President’s direct reports for efficient execution of projects and processes.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare and edit correspondence, communications, presentations and other documents.
- File and retrieve documents and reference materials.
- Conduct research, assemble and analyze data to prepare reports and documents.
- Manage and maintain executive’s schedules, appointments and travel arrangements.
- Arrange and coordinate meetings and events.
- Record, transcribe and distribute minutes of meetings, as needed.
- Monitor, respond to and distribute incoming communications.
- Develop complex reports for projects and for other purposes, as needed.
- Answer and manage incoming calls.
- Receive and interact with incoming visitors.
- Interact with external clients.
- Coordinate and execute project-based work.
- Review operating practices and implement improvements where necessary.
- Supervise and train lower level staff, as needed
- Handling various issues concerning Payroll, HR and Legal.
- BA/BS Degree preferred or equivalent years of experience.
- 3 years’ experience providing support at the executive level
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, HR Systems and ADP Workforce Now knowledge, preferred.
- Independent Judgment and decision-making ability required.
- The ability to take initiative and work independently
