About the role
We're looking for a product designer to join us in our mission to bring joy back to software engineering as we build our full code-centric AI stack. This role will work across the product on software creation features like our in-editor chat, and data metrics surfaces. You'll have ownership of various altitudes of design from strategy to UI details. This role will have a unique opportunity to contribute to the direction of how AI interfaces are defined.
- Work with the ML research team to improve discoverability and usability of Augment's AI assistant features via chat in various editors and on the Web
- Work with engineers to develop ergonomic UX solutions for editor limitations
- Host a design workshop on ways to productize a particular AI technology
- Work with Developer Experience and Marketing teams to discover new user needs and product opportunities
- Contribute to and improve Augment's design systems
