Job Description:

As a Compliance Officer at Augmentjobs, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our company adheres to legal and regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry standards. Your role will involve developing, implementing, and monitoring compliance programs to mitigate risk and promote a culture of integrity and ethical behavior within the organization. You will work closely with various departments to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, and provide guidance on compliance matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
• Policy Development: Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures to address potential risks and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify compliance gaps and recommend corrective actions.
• Training & Education: Design and deliver compliance training programs to employees at all levels, ensuring they understand and adhere to compliance requirements.
• Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor compliance with established policies and procedures, and prepare detailed reports on compliance status, issues, and recommendations.
• Investigations: Lead internal investigations into potential compliance violations, and coordinate with legal counsel as necessary.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to compliance activities, including policies, procedures, and audit findings.
• Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for compliance-related inquiries, and communicate with regulatory agencies and external auditors as needed.
  
  

Required Skills And Qualifications:

• Experience: 2-5 years of experience in a compliance role, preferably within a similar industry.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP)) are a plus.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards relevant to the industry.
• Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess risks and implement effective solutions.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees, management, and regulatory agencies.
• Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and accuracy in handling compliance documentation and reports.
• Ethics: Demonstrated commitment to ethical behavior and integrity.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with compliance management software.
