Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage the organization’s compliance program to ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Oversee and conduct compliance audits and assessments to identify and address potential compliance issues and risks.
- Monitor regulatory changes and industry standards, and update compliance policies and procedures accordingly.
- Provide strategic guidance and support to senior management and departments on compliance-related matters.
- Lead and manage the compliance team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
- Prepare and present compliance reports and findings to senior management and the board of directors.
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure timely and accurate responses to compliance inquiries and audits.
- Develop and deliver compliance training programs to staff and ensure ongoing education on compliance matters.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP)) are preferred.
- 7 years of experience in compliance management, with a proven track record in overseeing compliance programs and teams.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, compliance frameworks, and industry best practices.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess complex compliance issues and develop effective solutions.
- Proven leadership abilities, with experience in managing and developing compliance teams.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in compliance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
