- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. Implement best practices and technological solutions to streamline workflows.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of operations staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations. Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal controls. Monitor and manage risks associated with financial operations and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Client Service: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs and resolving any issues related to financial services operations. Ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
- Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and present operational reports to senior management. Analyze key performance indicators and operational metrics to drive data-informed decision-making.
- Project Management: Lead and participate in projects related to operational improvements, system upgrades, and other strategic initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
- Proven experience (5 years) in financial services operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of financial products, services, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
