- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for IT positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating the hiring process.
- Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified IT candidates through job boards, social media, networking, and direct outreach.
- Screen resumes and conduct technical interviews to assess candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Collaboration with Hiring Managers:
- Partner with IT hiring managers to understand the specific requirements of open positions, including the technical skills and experience needed.
- Provide guidance on best practices for technical interviews and candidate selection.
- Regularly update hiring managers on the progress of open positions and provide insights on the candidate market.
- Candidate Experience:
- Ensure a positive candidate experience by maintaining clear and timely communication throughout the recruitment process.
- Provide candidates with detailed information about the company, the role, and the technology stack used by the team.
- Manage the offer process, including salary negotiation and finalizing employment contracts.
- Market Research and Insights:
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, salary benchmarks, and the availability of technical talent.
- Provide data-driven insights to hiring managers and HR leadership to help inform recruitment strategies and decisions.
- Stay updated on the latest recruitment tools, technologies, and best practices to enhance the recruitment process.
- Employer Branding:
- Collaborate with HR and marketing teams to promote the company’s employer brand within the tech community.
- Represent the company at tech industry events, job fairs, and networking functions to attract top IT talent.
- Create and share content that highlights the company’s culture, values, and technical environment on various platforms.
- Data and Reporting:
- Track and analyze key recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and quality of hire, to assess the effectiveness of recruitment strategies.
- Prepare reports and presentations on IT recruitment activities, candidate pipelines, and hiring outcomes for HR leadership and business stakeholders.
- Use data-driven insights to continuously improve recruitment practices and make informed decisions.
- Compliance and Record Keeping:
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations throughout the recruitment process.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate interactions and recruitment activities in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Assist in preparing compliance reports, such as EEO-1 and other regulatory filings, as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in technical recruitment, preferably within an IT or tech-focused environment.
- Strong knowledge of IT roles, technical skills, and industry trends.
- Proven ability to develop and execute effective recruitment strategies for technical positions.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment tools.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
