Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Buy Side Equity Research Analyst to join our growing team. In this role, you will support our senior analysts in conducting in-depth research and analysis of equity investment opportunities across various sectors. Responsibilities
- Assist senior analysts in researching and analyzing companies, industries, and market trends to identify investment opportunities.
- Compile and evaluate financial data, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Develop financial models and forecasts to support investment recommendations.
- Monitor and update investment thesis and recommendations based on ongoing market developments and company performance.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarizing research findings and investment recommendations.
- Collaborate with portfolio managers and other team members to contribute insights and recommendations for portfolio construction and asset allocation.
- Stay informed about market news, regulatory developments, and economic indicators that may impact investment decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in equity research, financial analysis, or investment banking (internship experience may be considered).
- Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of financial statements and valuation techniques.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and Excel; familiarity with Bloomberg or other financial databases is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex information.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
