Junior Financial Analyst - Financial Operations And Strategy

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Financial Analyst to join our Financial Operations and Strategy team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about financial analysis, data-driven decision-making, and strategic planning. The Junior Financial Analyst will support financial operations and contribute to strategic initiatives, helping to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Analysis: Assist in analyzing financial data and preparing reports to support decision-making. Identify trends, variances, and key insights to inform business strategy.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Support the budgeting and forecasting process by gathering and analyzing data. Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management review.
• Operational Support: Help in monitoring financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, reconciliation processes, and cash flow management. Ensure accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting.
• Data Management: Maintain and update financial databases and systems. Ensure data integrity and accuracy in financial records and reports.
• Strategic Projects: Contribute to special projects related to financial strategy and operations. Provide analytical support for strategic initiatives and process improvements.
• Compliance & Reporting: Assist in ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal policies. Prepare documentation for audits and regulatory reviews.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other finance team members and cross-functional departments to support business goals and resolve financial issues.
  
  

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, financial operations, or a similar role. Internship experience may be considered.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
• Familiarity with financial software and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
