Key Responsibilities
- Conduct credit analysis on private companies, including financial statement analysis, cash flow modeling, and risk assessment.
- Perform due diligence on potential investment opportunities, including industry research and competitor analysis.
- Prepare detailed investment memoranda and presentations for internal stakeholders.
- Monitor portfolio performance and conduct periodic reviews of existing investments.
- Collaborate with investment teams to develop and execute investment strategies.
- Assist in the development and refinement of analytical tools and processes.
- Stay current on market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes impacting private credit.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; Master’s degree or CFA designation preferred.
- 2-4 years of experience in credit analysis, investment banking, private equity, or a related field.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel and financial analysis software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of private credit markets and investment strategies is a plus.
