Key Responsibilities
- Deal Sourcing & Origination: Identify and source new private credit opportunities through networking, market research, and relationship management.
- Credit Analysis: Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, credit assessments, and due diligence on potential investments.
- Transaction Execution: Lead the structuring, negotiation, and closing of private credit transactions, working closely with legal, compliance, and operational teams.
- Portfolio Management: Monitor and manage existing portfolio investments, ensuring compliance with covenants and evaluating performance.
- Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain relationships with borrowers, sponsors, and other stakeholders to support ongoing business development.
- Market Research: Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes impacting the private credit landscape.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
- 5-8 years of experience in private credit, investment banking, or private equity.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
- Proven track record in deal origination and execution.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
