What are the responsibilities and job description for the Student CLASSGroves On-Call Test Proctor Academic Year 2024-25 position at Augsburg University?
Test Proctors for the CLASS Office provide a welcoming and accessible environment to students taking their class exams in the Groves Lab. This is an oncall position. The responsibilities of the position include :
- Overseeing students taking exams to ensure the integrity of the test taking environment.
- Reading exams aloud and / or writing / typing for exams as needed.
- Asking questions and providing feedback to the CLASS Office Staff.
- Problemsolving and troubleshooting situations that occur with the assistance of the CLASS Office Staff.
- Maintaining confidentiality of private student information.
- Assisting with office related tasks.
Hours : Oncall Hours vary from week to week. Most hours available to proctor are during finals week.
Rate of pay : $15.97 / hour
This position is not benefits eligible.
Qualifications :
CLASS Office mission : Uphold the CLASS Office mission of leading the Augsburg community in advancing disability access and equity by creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for students taking exams in our office.
Reliability : Arrive on time for exams and respond to emails about proctoring opportunities.
Communication skills : Communicate well with students testing in our space about questions / concerns / conflicts that may arise with the support of the CLASS Office Staff.
Confidentiality : Maintain confidential student information.
Attention to detail : Comfortable with managing multiple exams at the same time.
Availability : Must be available during at least two of the following class times to proctor :
