ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Perform data entry, updates, and maintenance in company databases to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Assist in routine database management tasks such as backups and data cleanup activities under supervision.
- Generate and distribute standard reports from ERP and database systems.
- Perform basic ERP tasks such as updating user permissions, uploading data, and ensuring field configurations meet operational needs.
- Monitor and report database and ERP system performance issues to senior team members.
- Assist in creating and updating documentation for database processes and ERP workflows.
- Provide first-level support for routine ERP and database-related inquiries and escalate complex issues as needed.
- Support testing activities for ERP updates or system changes by following predefined test plans.
- Conduct research on emerging AI tools and technologies relevant to database management and ERP systems, and summarize findings for the team.
- Assist in evaluating and implementing AI-driven process improvements under the guidance of senior IT staff.
- Collaborate with IT team members on entry-level tasks and provide assistance as required.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance knowledge of database and ERP systems.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Basic understanding of relational databases and data entry principles.
- Basic understanding of Python, SQL or other coding languages.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including familiarity with formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis techniques.
- Familiarity with ERP systems or a willingness to learn.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to follow instructions and processes.
- Interest in or basic knowledge of AI tools and their applications in IT operations.
