August Rose Health Centers community-based psychiatric rehabilitation program (PRP) offers children and adults with mental illness a range of rehabilitation services that focus on emotional well-being, recovery, and resource connection including mental health service connection, housing, and entitlements coordination. The PRP programs services are person-centered, strength-based, and recovery-oriented, and are provided at a frequency and intensity that meets each client s individual needs. The PRP program is CARF accredited and designed to facilitate independence and community engagement, using leading-edge and evidence-based practices that consider each person's strengths, needs, desires, abilities, health, and safety.
Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program Supervisor
POSITION SUMMARY :
The director develops, administers, and supervises the daily operation of the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP).
Duties Include :
- This position requires licensing; LCSW-C, LMSW, LCPC, LGPC, CPRP, or CFRP (no exceptions)
- Develop and implements policies and procedures in conjunction with the management of staff and persons served.
- Monitors and manages program operations to assure delivery of services within contracted levels in accordance with available resources.
- Addresses long-range and short-range goals of the PRP Department, providing updates and recommendations to executive leadership.
- Provides personnel management, administration of personnel policies, staff meetings and supervision, staff evaluations, recruitment of staff, and related functions.
- Collaborates with the executive team to ensure staff is equipped with knowledge and skills to carry out their role in a way that ensures client-driven, culturally competent, strengths-based, and outcome-focused practice. Develops staffing competencies, provides supervision including reviewing and signing staff progress notes and monthly summaries, recruitment, and program coverage hire qualified staff to ensure client continuity of services and agency requirements.
- Ensures PRP program and services are compliant with all regulations related to licensing, certification of services, COMAR regulations, and CARF accreditation
- Prepares documentation for accreditation for the PRP Program, maintains awareness of all standards and compliance with quality assurance, and keeps the agency in compliance with all accreditation agency requirements. Assures compliance with health and safety guidelines.
- Coordinates program's relationship with other agencies and community resources.
- Provides leadership in developing and maintaining a clinically sound treatment program, which response to the needs of the client population.
