What are the responsibilities and job description for the Farm Assistant (Summer Assistant) position at Augusta Health Brand?
The Summer Assistant is responsible for The Summer Farm Assistant is responsible for assisting with day-to-day operations of farm production and supports the Farm Manager in using sustainable production methods in all operational aspects. This is a Term Limited position- approximately 3 months over the summer. The position will work approx. 30-40 hours a week ideally starting in early May and ending in September.
Education

Experience:
- Desire to learn and practice sustainable farming using methods that emphasize biodiversity and soil health.
Competencies:
- Strong multi-tasking, organizational, and time management skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
- Ability to remain flexible and open minded
- Willingness to interact in a positive manner with healthcare team members, community members, volunteers and hospital patients
- Job duties as otherwise assigned
- Ability to uphold and comply with The Farm at Augusta Health Standards of Appearance.
