JOB SUMMARY:

This role will be responsible for acquiring data from multiple factory and ERP sources, creating robust KPIs and dashboards in Power BI and Excel, and analyzing complex data sets to drive profitability and operational efficiency improvements across the company.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (includes other duties as required):

Data Acquisition and Management:

  • Extract, clean, and validate data from various factory systems, ERP platforms, and other data sources.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines to ensure reliable and consistent data availability.

KPI Development and Dashboard Creation:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and define key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Design and develop visually compelling dashboards in Power BI and Excel to monitor operational performance.
  • Ensure dashboards are user-friendly and provide actionable insights for stakeholders.

Data Analysis:

  • Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to enhance profitability, efficiency, and overall performance.
  • Support decision-making by preparing detailed reports and presentations based on analytical findings.

Process Improvement:

  • Partner with operations, supply chain, and manufacturing teams to identify inefficiencies and develop data-backed solutions.
  • Monitor the impact of implemented changes and refine strategies as needed.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with IT, finance, and operations teams to ensure data alignment and integrity.
  • Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership in a clear and concise manner.

 

 

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, Excel (including advanced functions and VBA), and SQL.
  • Experience working with ERP systems; familiarity with [specific ERP systems used at the company, if any] is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage and analyze large data sets.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey complex data findings to non-technical audiences.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing or supply chain operations is a strong advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Python or R for advanced data analysis.
  • Familiarity with data visualization best practices.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification or experience in process improvement methodologies.

  • Frequent head and neck rotation
  • Frequent handling, grasping, and writing as needed for daily tasks at a standard computer workstation.
  • Ability to constantly use a computer keyboard/mouse/monitor to enter data (repetitively)
  • Ability to endure occasional movement bending, stooping, and reaching above shoulder level as needed for daily tasks.
  • Occasionally climb stairs to multi-level work site

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Hybrid, office

 

WORK HOURS:

  • Full-Time, Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM
