Vendor Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key IT vendors, including strategic suppliers, cloud providers, and software vendors.
- Conduct regular business reviews with vendors to assess performance against contractual obligations, service level agreements (SLAs), and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks associated with vendor performance and service delivery.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., IT Operations, Procurement, Legal) to ensure vendor contracts are aligned with business needs and comply with company policies.
- Monitor industry trends and vendor innovations to identify potential opportunities for improvement and cost optimization.
- Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and measure vendor performance.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to vendors on their performance.
- Work with vendors to develop and implement corrective action plans to address performance gaps.
- Escalate critical vendor performance issues to management as needed.
- Conduct due diligence on prospective vendors, including financial stability, security posture, and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Identify and assess potential risks associated with vendor relationships, such as security breaches, service disruptions, and financial instability.
- Develop and implement mitigation strategies to minimize vendor risk.
- Effectively communicate with internal stakeholders and vendors, providing timely updates and resolving issues.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including IT operations, procurement, legal, and finance.
