JOB SUMMARY:
Ensure accuracy and quality of customer orders by auditing and inspecting shipments. Verify that all items match the pick ticket and pick list, and document quality results while maintaining adherence to safety and operational standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (includes other duties as required):
- Manually lift or use a lift table to transfer cartons from the conveyor to the inspection table. Utilize proper handling techniques to prevent damage and ensure efficiency.
- Safely open boxes using a box cutter provided, taking care to avoid injury and damage to the contents.
- Count and verify items in each carton against the carton pick ticket label and pick list to ensure order accuracy. Address and resolve any discrepancies found.
- After inspection, fold and place garments or items back into their bags. Ensure items are repackaged correctly to maintain product integrity.
- Place approved items back into the carton, securely re-tape the carton, and move it back to the conveyor for further processing.
- Manually lift or use a lift table to move inspected cartons from the inspection table back to the conveyor, ensuring proper placement for continued processing.
- Accurately document inspection results and any errors by completing required reports and logs as requested by the Supervisor. Maintain detailed records of inspection activities.
- Ability to read and interpret pick ticket labels, work orders, and other shipping-related documents to ensure correct handling and processing of orders.
- Follow established safety and procedural standards to maintain a safe and healthy work environment. Report any safety hazards or procedural issues to the Supervisor promptly.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. - High school diploma or GED preferred.
- One to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow procedures accurately and work efficiently.
- Basic mathematical skills and proficiency in using standard office equipment.
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly, with occasional lifting and/or moving up to 35 pounds. Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- No specific certifications required; on-the-job training will be provided.

- Overtime and weekend work may be requested during busy periods.
