What are the responsibilities and job description for the COMPLIANCE ANALYST position at Aultman Health Foundation?
PURPOSE OF POSITION
Under the direction of the Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer, the Compliance Analyst assists the compliance team in the fulfillment of Aultman’s compliance program. This position plays a pivotal role in the Aultman compliance department’s responsibilities of planning, designing, implementing and maintaining the AHS compliance program, policies, and procedures. Duties include the performance of audits and investigations related to compliance and privacy issues and monitoring of regulatory changes potentially impacting the organization. This position will also promote an awareness and understanding of corporate compliance that is consistent with the values of the Aultman and as required by federal and state law.
RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS
- Assist in the development of system-wide programs, policies, and procedures to support Aultman’s compliance and privacy programs
- Assist in analysis and review of regulatory changes and updates of Federal and State rules and requirements.
- Assist in efforts to communicate Aultman’s compliance program, including written materials and training programs designed specifically to promote understanding of compliance issues, laws, regulations, and the consequences of non-compliance.
- Provide consultative compliance and privacy support and guidance as appropriate.
- Design and perform compliance audits to ensure compliance with federal and state requirements
