QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience with phone systems, data entry, and office equipment
- Have a working knowledge related to current veterinary topics with good client education skills
- Customer Service: 1 year (Required)
- Veterinary experience: 1 year (Preferred)
- Working knowledge of Cornerstone Veterinary Practice Management software is a plus!
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Answering a multiple line phone system, answering questions, screening, scheduling appointments and taking prescription requests
- Checking in appointments and surgeries
- Greet clients and their pets in a friendly and timely manner
- Check clients in and out, processing payments
- Confirm appointments and complete follow up calls for upcoming services
- Responding to email and text messages in a timely and professional manner
- Ability to screen and prioritize emergency cases and inform staff accordingly
- Provide knowledgeable information to clients regarding general products, procedures and services and associated costs
- Document all relevant client communication
- Accurately maintain and prepare records, consent forms and other documents
- Answer and transfer incoming calls
- Monitor and record animal's information in patient records
- Provide accurate information about appointments and procedures
- Ensure the smooth operation of the front desk and reception area by helping other employees when needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
