Aunt Wendy’s Dog Care LLC has been providing dog care services for 15 years in Maplewood, NJ. We provide a hybrid of dog pack walking and day care services and are a familiar site all around town. We are looking to expand our services to include West Orange, Livingston, Springfield, Summit, Westfield, Chatham, Madison, Morristown and other neighboring towns.

Job Description

Ideal for dog lovers who enjoy the outdoors. The Dog Walker/Pack Leader is responsible for managing your own dog pack [Full-time or Part-time opportunities]

· Pickup & drop off daily dogs Monday - Friday and some holidays (6-12 dogs)

· Walk dogs using specialized hands-free harnessing system

· Supervise and maintain orderly play period

· Develop/maintain relationship with pet parents

· Record daily attendance records

· Responsible for local sales & marketing to grow territory (with support from owner)

· Capture pictures of dogs for pet parents and social media presence

· Walk in all weather, snow, rain or shine…some days may be physically demanding

· Provide overnight care (at your home or pet parent’s home) for optional additional revenue opportunity

Job Qualification/Skills

The Dog Walker/Pack Leader is:

· Personable and reliable dog lover

· Comfortable with dogs of all breeds and sizes

· Possesses an overall understanding of dog behavior and body language.

· Career minded

· Entrepreneurial self-starter

· Detail-oriented and keeps accurate records

· Physically capable of lifting up to 40lbs

· Valid NJ driver’s license and a good driving record

· Own your own car with current insurance and registration

· Preferred – home with outside fenced area and indoor area for play

· Preferred - your home living space allows for dogs to sleepover for optional additional revenue opportunity

· Fluency in written and spoken English language

· Must have US citizenship or valid US work authorization

Compensation/Benefits

The Dog Walker/Pack Leader position provides the following compensation/benefits:

· Compensation is based on a revenue share model per dog walked (opportunities for $50k - $100k annually depending on # of dogs in the pack)

Pay: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
