Position: Part-Time Dog Walker
The Wash N’ Wiggle Pet Squad operates 7 days a week from 7AM-9PM. Currently, we are looking to hire for the following days / hours:
- Monday through Friday 11AM-5PM (hours and days are flexible).
- Rotating weekend work is required - need to be available up until 9PM on some weekend days.
- Some holidays are required.
Salary: Compensation is paid per visit based on the length of the visit. We offer 15, 20, 30 and 45 minute visits. While we offer flexible schedules we are looking for someone who can be flexible with us too!

Qualifications and Skills
- A passion for caring for pets!
- Candidates need to live within 5-10 miles of Morris Plains/Morristown.
- Prior dog walking, pet experience and pet ownership preferred.
- Own a reliable car to drive to and from customer homes.
- Equipped with a smart phone with access to email and a data plan.
- Able to commit to work for a minimum of six months.
- Detail oriented, excellent time management & communication skills.
- Trustworthiness - home security is a top priority.
- Ability to follow detailed client instructions.
- Available to work some holidays.
- Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments.
- Able to drive & walk outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
- Ability to think on your feet under pressure and respond appropriately.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily dog walking and pet care services at individual customer homes, ensuring the safety and well-being of pets.
- Perform animal handling and restraint techniques as needed.
- Deliver exceptional pet care, including feeding and administering medications as needed.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their animals' needs and behaviors.
- Manage time efficiently to accommodate multiple clients and their pets.
- Maintain cleanliness at customer homes and ensure proper disposal of pet waste.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
