We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, processing payroll, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles. This role requires a strong understanding of financial concepts, including debits and credits, as well as proficiency in accounting software. Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records by recording daily transactions and reconciling accounts.
- Process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Utilize accounting software such as Xero and Quicken for efficient financial management.
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
- Prepare reports on accounts receivable and other financial metrics as needed.
- Ensure adherence to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) in all bookkeeping activities.
- Perform 10 key typing for data entry tasks with high accuracy.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
Requirements
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
- Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Xero and Quicken.
- Strong understanding of payroll processing and related regulations.
- Knowledge of GAAP principles and financial concepts.
- Experience with account analysis, debits, credits, and accounts receivable management.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members across departments.
- Willing to work in person from Monday to Friday.
