Aureon Consulting has an immediate need for a motivated individual with prior experience in a mature IT PMO to join the team as Project Coordinator.
5 years of experience in the Broker Dealer / RIA / Financial services industry REQUIRED.
This role is primarily responsible for managing small projects and supporting Program Directors to include tracking of project activities, assisting with creating various presentation materials and reporting and ensuring proper meeting minutes and action items are collected and acted upon.
Support will also be provided to Program and Project Managers as capacity allows.
If you’ve served as a Project Manager and have interest in more of a support role or are ready to step back from “running the show”, this role could be a good fit.
Key Responsibilities :
Partner closely with Program Director and as appropriate the Program and Project Managers to support various project activities, including note taking, documentation of action items and updating of project plans.
Interface daily with Project or Program Manager(s); helping with tracking project activities, maintaining project schedule and documentation. Support follow-ups with business partners on issues and status, helping to drive action items to completion.
Set up meetings and follow ups for the Project Manager as needed.
Participate in key meetings and then follow-up with meeting tasks and to-do lists.
Manage all data entry and database management as well as supporting project plan updating, as necessary.
Review, follow-up and validate all milestone deliverables with contractors in a timely manner.
Act as the Administrative Assistant to the Program Director
Communicate and accurately convey information to all relevant stakeholders in a concise and clear manner.
Manage small projects through all phases of the life cycle including project initiation, requirements, design, development, testing, implementation, and post implementation.
Basic Requirements :
Intermediate to expert level skills with online PM tools i.e. MS Project or other PM tools. Experience with TEAMS, OneNote, and the like are highly desired.
Must be diligent, proactive, and work professionally with all personnel.
Highly accomplished in working with all functions of MS Outlook email client.
3 years’ experience as a project analyst or project coordinator in a multi-disciplinary environment
High level of expertise with Microsoft Office Tools; Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, SharePoint, MS Project
Excellent communication, facilitation, and organizational skills
Ability to interact with all levels of the organization in both technical and business areas successfully.
Experience with RAID Entry, reporting, action tracking and follow-ups
Ability to effectively time manage and prioritize responsibilities when conflicting demands arise.
Data Entry and Database Management must be highly accurate.
Preferred Requirements :
Work experience in the financial services sector
Proficient w / TEAMS, SharePoint & OneNote preferably with some configuration skills
